- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Trim the tops off the fennel bulbs and cut them into wedges, leaving the core intact to hold them together.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, chopped thyme, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Add fennel wedges to the bowl and toss gently to coat them evenly with the marinade.
- Place the fennel wedges on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
- While the fennel is grilling, grill the sausages for about 10-12 minutes, turning frequently until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
- Once cooked, remove fennel and sausages from the grill.
- Serve the grilled fennel and sausage together, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh thyme if desired.
