  • Cooked shrimp - 100 grams
  • Cooked scallops - 100 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Clean the leeks thoroughly, removing any dirt, and slice them into thin rings.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the leeks and sauté for about 10 minutes until they are soft and translucent.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the leeks, stir well, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Gradually add the milk and cream, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens and is smooth.
  6. Season with nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  7. Fold in the cooked shrimp and scallops gently into the leek mixture.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  9. In a bowl, combine the grated Gruyère cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the gratin.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
