- Water - 120 milliliters
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried thyme - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Aquafaba (chickpea brine) - 60 milliliters
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine the water and olive oil, bringing it to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and quickly stir in the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper until a dough forms.
- Let the dough cool for a few minutes, then add the aquafaba and nutritional yeast, mixing until smooth and well combined.
- Spoon or pipe small mounds of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
