Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 100 grams
- Water - 120 milliliters
- Olive oil - 30 milliliters
- Ground flaxseed - 1 tablespoon
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped fresh chives - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the ground flaxseed with 3 tablespoons of water and let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
- In a saucepan, combine the water and olive oil and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and quickly stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until a smooth dough forms.
- Allow the dough to cool for about 5 minutes, then stir in the flaxseed mixture, nutritional yeast, parsley, and chives until well combined.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a round tip or use a spoon to drop small mounds onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
