- Egg - 1 large
- Cold water - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil (for frying) - 500 ml

Steps
- Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and gradually add cold water, mixing well.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients to create a smooth batter.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).
- Dip each piece of fish into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then carefully place them into the hot oil.
- Fry the fish pieces in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fritures with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce for dipping.
