Ingredients

  • Ground kosher beef - 300 grams
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Onion powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Hamburger buns - 2
  • Cheddar cheese (kosher) - 2 slices
  • Frozen French fries - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Pickles - 4 slices
  • Ketchup - to taste
  • Mustard - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground kosher beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined and form into 2 equal patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt.
  4. While the patties are cooking, spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
  5. To assemble the Frites Burger, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cheese-topped patty, slices of tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve the burgers hot with a side of crispy French fries.
