  • Active dry yeast - 5 grams
  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Sea salt - 5 grams
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm water and active dry yeast, letting it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, sea salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  7. Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into a flat oval on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough and spread the halved cherry tomatoes and chopped rosemary on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
