Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 150 grams
  • Water - 75 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Silken tofu - 100 grams
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Smoked paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh chives - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, water, olive oil, and salt to form a dough. Knead briefly until smooth, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. While the dough rests, prepare the sauce by blending the silken tofu, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a food processor until smooth. Set aside.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thin rectangle or circle, about 5mm thick.
  5. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the tofu sauce evenly over the dough.
  7. In a skillet, sauté the sliced onions and mushrooms over medium heat until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Distribute the sautéed onions and mushrooms over the sauce on the dough.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chives before slicing and serving.
