- All-purpose flour - 150 grams
- Water - 75 ml
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Silken tofu - 100 grams
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Smoked paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh chives - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, water, olive oil, and salt to form a dough. Knead briefly until smooth, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
- While the dough rests, prepare the sauce by blending the silken tofu, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a food processor until smooth. Set aside.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thin rectangle or circle, about 5mm thick.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tofu sauce evenly over the dough.
- In a skillet, sauté the sliced onions and mushrooms over medium heat until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Distribute the sautéed onions and mushrooms over the sauce on the dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chives before slicing and serving.
