- Low-fat crème fraîche - 100g
- Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Zucchini - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Bell pepper - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, water, olive oil, and a pinch of salt to form a dough. Knead for a few minutes until smooth.
- Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to a thin rectangle, about 25x30 cm.
- Spread the low-fat crème fraîche evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Arrange the sliced onion, zucchini, and bell pepper on top of the crème fraîche.
- Sprinkle fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper over the vegetables.
- Transfer the flammekueche to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
