Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 150 grams
  • Water - 75 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegan sour cream - 100 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Vegan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh chives - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt, then create a well in the center and add water and olive oil. Gradually mix until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. While the dough rests, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced onions. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until caramelized, stirring occasionally.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thin rectangle (about 30x20 cm). Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the vegan sour cream evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Distribute the caramelized onions over the sour cream, then sprinkle with grated vegan cheese and season with black pepper.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for about 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped chives, slice, and serve hot.
