Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Warm water - 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt, then add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rest for 10 minutes, covered with a damp cloth.
  3. While the dough is resting, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sprinkle with smoked paprika and black pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and the onions are caramelized, about 5 more minutes. Remove from heat.
  5. Preheat your oven to 250°C (482°F) or the highest setting. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thin rectangle, about 3 mm thick.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the sautéed onion and mushroom mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  8. Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
