Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin steak - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped thyme, chopped rosemary, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the beef sirloin steak to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  5. While the steak is cooking, toss the halved cherry tomatoes with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper, and grill them for about 3-4 minutes until slightly charred.
  6. Once the steak is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve the sliced steak topped with grilled cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
