Ingredients

  • Snails (canned or fresh) - 12 pieces
  • Unsalted butter - 50 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Almond flour - 1 tablespoon (optional for thickening)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. If using, add the almond flour to the butter mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. Place the snails in their shells or in a baking dish if canned. Spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over each snail, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. If using shells, place the snails back into them and arrange them in a baking dish. If using a baking dish, simply place them in a single layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the butter is bubbling and fragrant.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.
