- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Mixed greens - 50 grams
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a shallow dish, place the flour. In another dish, beat the egg. In a third dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, chopped thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Camembert cheese first in flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, and finally roll it in the panko mixture until fully coated.
- Place the coated Camembert on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melting.
- While the cheese is baking, prepare a simple salad with mixed greens and cherry tomatoes, drizzling with balsamic vinegar.
- Once the Camembert is done, let it cool for a minute before serving with the salad.
