Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil - for frying

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  4. Fry the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan, for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the cromesquis from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  6. Serve warm as an appetizer, optionally with a dipping sauce of your choice.
