Ingredients
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut oil - for frying
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- Fry the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan, for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the cromesquis from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve warm as an appetizer, optionally with a dipping sauce of your choice.
