Ingredients
- Russet potatoes - 400 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated (optional for flavor enhancement)
Steps
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them thinly (about 2-3 mm thick) using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes with olive oil, chopped rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the potatoes are evenly coated.
- On a large piece of parchment paper, arrange the potato slices in a circular pattern, overlapping them slightly to form a flat disc.
- If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the potato disc.
- Carefully transfer the parchment paper with the potato galette onto the grill. Close the lid and cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
- Using tongs, carefully flip the galette (you may need a second piece of parchment for support) and grill for an additional 10-15 minutes until the other side is crispy and the potatoes are tender.
- Once done, remove from the grill and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice into wedges and serve warm.
