- Chickpea flour - 100 grams
- Water - 100 ml
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - for frying
- Lemon wedges - for serving
Steps
- Steam the cauliflower florets for about 5-7 minutes until tender, then let them cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, mash the steamed cauliflower with a fork or potato masher until chunky.
- In a separate bowl, mix chickpea flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
- Add the mashed cauliflower and chopped parsley to the chickpea mixture and stir until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a generous amount of olive oil.
- Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the cauliflower mixture into the hot skillet, flattening them slightly to form fritters.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
