Ingredients

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 300 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 3 cloves
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • White wine - 100 ml
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon (juiced) - 1
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted and bubbling.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for another 2 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate and the flavors to meld.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
