- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and half of the butter over medium heat until melted.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the remaining butter until melted.
- Add lemon juice and chopped parsley, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
