  • Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
  • Unsalted butter - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and half of the butter over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the remaining butter until melted.
  5. Add lemon juice and chopped parsley, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
