Steps

  1. Trim the Brussels sprouts by cutting off the stem ends and removing any yellow leaves. Halve them lengthwise.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the skillet, cut side down. Cook for about 5-7 minutes without stirring, until they begin to brown.
  4. Stir the Brussels sprouts, then season with salt and black pepper. Continue to sauté for another 5-7 minutes until tender and caramelized.
