- Cold water - 60 ml
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
- Dark chocolate (dairy-free) - 100 grams, chopped
- Powdered sugar - for dusting
- Salt - a pinch
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Cut the chilled vegan butter into small cubes and mix it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the cold water gradually, mixing until a dough forms. Be careful not to overwork the dough.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 0.5 cm thick.
- Cut the dough into smaller rectangles (approximately 10cm x 15cm).
- Place a piece of chopped dark chocolate in the center of each rectangle.
- Fold the dough over the chocolate to create a pocket, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork.
- Place the filled chocolatines on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
