- Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced

- Fresh basil leaves - a handful
- Mustard - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the Charolais beef with minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper until just combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef patties.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adjusting time based on your preferred doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing and drying the romaine leaves.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
