Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 250 grams
  • Goat cheese (chèvre) - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Whole grain burger buns - 2
  • Fresh arugula - 50 grams
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground turkey with salt and black pepper, mixing until just combined.
  2. Form the turkey mixture into two patties, pressing a small indentation in the center of each patty.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C).
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place crumbled goat cheese on top of each patty to melt slightly.
  5. While the patties are cooking, toast the whole grain buns in a separate pan or under a broiler until golden brown.
  6. Spread honey on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  7. Layer fresh arugula and red onion slices on top of the honey.
  8. Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on top of the arugula and onion, then close the burgers with the top half of the bun.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your Chèvre et Miel Burgers.
