- Ground turkey - 250 grams
- Goat cheese (chèvre) - 100 grams, crumbled
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Whole grain burger buns - 2
- Fresh arugula - 50 grams
- Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey with salt and black pepper, mixing until just combined.
- Form the turkey mixture into two patties, pressing a small indentation in the center of each patty.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C).
- During the last minute of cooking, place crumbled goat cheese on top of each patty to melt slightly.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the whole grain buns in a separate pan or under a broiler until golden brown.
- Spread honey on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Layer fresh arugula and red onion slices on top of the honey.
- Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on top of the arugula and onion, then close the burgers with the top half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Chèvre et Miel Burgers.
