- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Peel the carrots and cut them into uniform sticks, about 1 cm thick.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, honey, minced garlic, thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss well to coat them evenly with the mixture.
- Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the carrots are tender and caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
