Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Camembert cheese - 100 grams
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Fresh arugula - 50 grams
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Form into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Cook the patties in the preheated skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place slices of Camembert cheese on top of each patty, covering them with a lid to help the cheese melt.
  5. While the patties are cooking, cut the burger buns in half and toast them in a separate pan with olive oil until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the melted cheese patty on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a layer of arugula, sliced tomatoes, and red onions. Top with the other half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Camembert Melt Burger.
