- Veal chops - 2 pieces (about 200g each)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mixed greens - 100g for serving
- Cherry tomatoes - 100g, halved for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the veal chops in a shallow dish or a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the veal chops from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade.
- Grill the veal chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 60°C (140°F) for medium-rare.
- Remove the chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve the grilled veal chops on a plate over a bed of mixed greens, garnished with halved cherry tomatoes.
