- Pork chops - 2 pieces (approximately 200g each)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Butter - 30g
- Heavy cream - 100ml
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped thyme and rosemary, stirring to combine.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Add the butter and stir until melted and the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them to coat.
- Serve hot, drizzled with the creamy herb sauce.
