Ingredients

  • Pork chops - 2 pieces (approximately 200g each)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Butter - 30g
  • Heavy cream - 100ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add the chopped thyme and rosemary, stirring to combine.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  8. Add the butter and stir until melted and the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them to coat.
  10. Serve hot, drizzled with the creamy herb sauce.
