- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Mixed salad greens - 100 grams
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the chicken or turkey sausage, chopped parsley, thyme, and minced garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
