Ingredients
- Ground beef - 400 grams
- Dried cèpes (porcini mushrooms) - 30 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Cheese (optional) - 50 grams, sliced
Steps
- Soak the dried cèpes in warm water for about 15 minutes, then drain and finely chop them.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped cèpes, minced garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty, covering the skillet to melt the cheese.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in the same skillet and sauté any remaining cèpes if desired.
- Serve the burgers warm, topped with sautéed cèpes and fresh parsley. Enjoy without a bun or with a side of leafy greens.
