Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Dried cèpes (porcini mushrooms) - 30 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Cheese (optional) - 50 grams, sliced

Steps

  1. Soak the dried cèpes in warm water for about 15 minutes, then drain and finely chop them.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped cèpes, minced garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty, covering the skillet to melt the cheese.
  6. Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in the same skillet and sauté any remaining cèpes if desired.
  7. Serve the burgers warm, topped with sautéed cèpes and fresh parsley. Enjoy without a bun or with a side of leafy greens.
