Ingredients

  • 200g lean ground beef
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon truffle oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 whole-grain burger buns
  • 50g mixed greens (arugula, spinach, etc.)
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon truffle oil (for aioli)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, shallot, garlic, parsley, truffle oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into two patties.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  3. While the patties are cooking, prepare the truffle aioli by mixing Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and truffle oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Toast the whole-grain burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Assemble the burgers by spreading a tablespoon of truffle aioli on the bottom half of each bun, then add the cooked patty, followed by mixed greens, tomato slices, and avocado.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun, serve immediately, and enjoy your healthy Burger de Truffe.
