- 200g lean ground beef
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon truffle oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 whole-grain burger buns
- 50g mixed greens (arugula, spinach, etc.)
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon truffle oil (for aioli)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, shallot, garlic, parsley, truffle oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into two patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the truffle aioli by mixing Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and truffle oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Toast the whole-grain burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading a tablespoon of truffle aioli on the bottom half of each bun, then add the cooked patty, followed by mixed greens, tomato slices, and avocado.
