- Breadcrumbs - 100 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Balsamic glaze - for drizzling
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped basil, chopped parsley, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two patties of equal size and thickness.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and heated through.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate skillet or toaster until golden.
