Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
  4. Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, slice it in half if desired for easier handling, and place it on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Top each burger with lettuce, tomato slices, and avocado slices.
  7. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
