Ingredients

  • Grass-fed beef patties - 300 grams
  • Duck or goose foie gras - 100 grams
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef with chopped rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Form into two patties of equal size.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.
  3. While the patties are cooking, slice the foie gras into 1 cm thick pieces.
  4. In the last minute of cooking the patties, place the slices of foie gras on top of each patty to melt slightly.
  5. To assemble the burgers, place each patty with melted foie gras on a large romaine lettuce leaf. Top with slices of tomato, avocado, and red onion.
  6. Wrap the lettuce around the filling to create a burger and serve immediately, enjoying the rich flavors.
