- Grass-fed beef patties - 300 grams
- Duck or goose foie gras - 100 grams
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef with chopped rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Form into two patties of equal size.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, slice the foie gras into 1 cm thick pieces.
- In the last minute of cooking the patties, place the slices of foie gras on top of each patty to melt slightly.
- To assemble the burgers, place each patty with melted foie gras on a large romaine lettuce leaf. Top with slices of tomato, avocado, and red onion.
- Wrap the lettuce around the filling to create a burger and serve immediately, enjoying the rich flavors.
