Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80% lean) - 300 grams
  • Fresh parsley - 15 grams, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 5 grams, chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Gluten-free burger buns - 2
  • Goat cheese - 60 grams, crumbled
  • Mixed greens - 50 grams
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Homemade mustard sauce - 2 tablespoons (mix 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped parsley, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until your desired doneness is reached.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the gluten-free buns by toasting them lightly in a toaster or on a separate skillet.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, place crumbled goat cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet for about 1 minute to melt the cheese slightly.
  6. To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with mixed greens, tomato slices, and red onion.
  7. Drizzle with homemade mustard sauce and cover with the top bun. Serve immediately.
