- Ground beef (80% lean) - 300 grams
- Fresh parsley - 15 grams, chopped
- Fresh thyme - 5 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Gluten-free burger buns - 2
- Goat cheese - 60 grams, crumbled
- Mixed greens - 50 grams
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Homemade mustard sauce - 2 tablespoons (mix 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped parsley, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until your desired doneness is reached.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the gluten-free buns by toasting them lightly in a toaster or on a separate skillet.
- Once the patties are cooked, place crumbled goat cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet for about 1 minute to melt the cheese slightly.
- To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with mixed greens, tomato slices, and red onion.
- Drizzle with homemade mustard sauce and cover with the top bun. Serve immediately.
