  • Roquefort cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Large lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 leaves
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1 small, sliced

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and form each into a patty.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, add the crumbled Roquefort cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
  5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce leaves and slice the avocado.
  6. To assemble, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, top with sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
  7. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
