Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Roquefort cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2 medium, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt. Mix well and form into two equal-sized patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  3. During the last minute of cooking, place the crumbled Roquefort cheese on top of each patty to melt slightly.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger topping by slicing the tomato, red onion, and avocado.
  5. To assemble the burgers, place each patty on a large romaine lettuce leaf. Top with tomato slices, red onion, avocado, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
  6. Wrap the lettuce around the patties like a burger and serve immediately.
