  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped onion - 50 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
  • Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons
  • Sliced tomatoes - 100 grams
  • Sliced cucumber - 100 grams
  • Sliced pickles - 50 grams

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, chopped parsley, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty about 2 cm thick.
  3. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce leaves by washing and drying them thoroughly.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty inside two large lettuce leaves. Spread 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on each patty.
  6. Top with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and pickles as desired.
  7. Wrap the lettuce leaves around the filling and enjoy your Burger Alsacien!
