- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash the Swiss chard thoroughly and separate the leaves from the stems. Chop the stems into small pieces and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped Swiss chard stems to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the stems are tender.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and Swiss chard leaves. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the leaves are wilted and the tomatoes are soft.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
