Ingredients

  • Swiss chard - 300 grams

  • Tomatoes - 2 medium, diced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Wash the Swiss chard thoroughly and separate the leaves from the stems. Chop the stems into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped Swiss chard stems to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the stems are tender.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes and Swiss chard leaves. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the leaves are wilted and the tomatoes are soft.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice. Adjust seasoning if needed.
