  • Ricotta cheese - 250 grams
  • Fresh spinach - 200 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - a pinch
  • Fresh basil - 2 tablespoons, chopped (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, wilted spinach, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
