- Ricotta cheese - 250 grams
- Fresh spinach - 200 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Fresh basil - 2 tablespoons, chopped (optional)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, wilted spinach, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
