- Zucchini - 300 grams, grated
- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Cornstarch - 30 grams
- Green onions - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Steps
- Grate the zucchini and place it in a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze out excess moisture and transfer the grated zucchini to a mixing bowl.
- Add the finely chopped green onions, minced garlic, flour, cornstarch, egg, salt, black pepper, and sesame oil to the bowl with zucchini. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon.
- Fry the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
