Ingredients

  • Zucchini - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • All-purpose flour - 150 grams
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, grated
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and water to form a dough. Knead until smooth, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. While the dough is resting, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the sliced zucchini and soy sauce to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the zucchini is tender. Season with black pepper and sesame oil. Remove from heat.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit a baking sheet or pizza stone. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Spread the sautéed zucchini and garlic mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and grated mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. If desired, sprinkle chili flakes for some heat.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
