Ingredients
- all-purpose flour - 200 grams
- water - 100 milliliters
- sesame paste - 50 grams
- green onions - 30 grams, finely chopped
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons, plus extra for frying
- sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
- white pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water while mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the sesame paste, chopped green onions, vegetable oil, white pepper, and sesame seeds to create the filling.
- Divide the rested dough into 2 equal pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle (about 20 cm in diameter).
- Spread half of the filling mixture evenly over each dough circle, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Roll each dough circle into a tight log, then coil the log into a spiral shape and flatten gently with your palm.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, add a little vegetable oil, and place the flattened dough into the pan.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with the second piece of dough.
- Remove from heat, slice into wedges, and serve warm.
