- Ground pork - 300 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced

- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chinese five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter lettuce - 4 large leaves
- Cucumber - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1 small, shredded
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onion, coconut aminos, sesame oil, Chinese five-spice powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and have a golden-brown crust.
- While the patties cook, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing the butter lettuce leaves and patting them dry.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty inside a lettuce leaf. Top with sliced cucumber, shredded carrot, and fresh cilantro.
