Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 300 grams, boneless and skinless
  • Honey - 4 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, gluten-free soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Once heated, add the marinated chicken pieces to the grill or skillet, discarding any remaining marinade.
  5. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and caramelized, with an internal temperature reaching 75°C (165°F).
  6. Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
