- Fermented soybean paste - 1 tablespoon

- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Burger buns - 2
- Oil for frying - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with soy sauce, fermented soybean paste, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, and sugar until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they are cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the vegetables by julienning the cucumber and carrot, and chop the green onions.
- Toast the burger buns in a separate pan until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with cucumber, carrot, and green onions.
- Drizzle a little extra sesame oil on top if desired, then close the burger with the top bun and serve immediately.
