  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine) - 4 large leaves
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, sliced thinly
  • Carrot - 1 small, julienned
  • Pickled radish - 50 grams, sliced

Steps

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the fermented soybean paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil, mixing well to combine.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. While the pork is simmering, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing and drying the lettuce leaves.
  6. Once the pork is cooked, assemble the burger by placing a scoop of the pork mixture in the center of a lettuce leaf.
  7. Top with cucumber slices, julienned carrot, and pickled radish for added crunch and flavor.
  8. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
