Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 300 grams, cubed
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Skewers - 4 (wooden or metal)

Steps

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cubed lamb, vegetable oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the lamb is evenly coated with the spices.
  3. Thread the marinated lamb onto the soaked skewers, packing the meat tightly but leaving some space between pieces for even cooking.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the lamb is cooked through and slightly charred on the outside.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. Serve hot with a side of spicy dipping sauce or your favorite salad.
