  • chicken thigh - 100 grams
  • garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • rice wine - 1 tablespoon
  • five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • green onions - 2, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced pork shoulder and chicken thigh.
  2. Add minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, rice wine, five-spice powder, black pepper, and red chili flakes to the meat mixture.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined and let marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  4. While the meat is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes to prevent burning.
  5. After marinating, shape the meat mixture into sausage forms and thread them onto the soaked skewers.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush the grill grates with olive oil.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the sausages are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
  8. Remove from the grill and drizzle with sesame oil, then garnish with chopped fresh coriander and green onions before serving.
