Ingredients

  • Almonds - 150 grams

  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili oil - optional, to taste
  • Pickled vegetables - 50 grams, for garnish

Steps

  1. Soak almonds in water for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse the soaked almonds, then blend them with 1 liter of fresh water until smooth.
  3. Strain the almond mixture through a nut milk bag or a fine mesh sieve into a pot, discarding the almond pulp.
  4. Add salt to the almond milk and heat it over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once heated, remove from the heat and stir in sesame oil.
