Ingredients
- Pork shoulder - 200 grams
- Rice flour - 100 grams
- Water - 150 ml
- Green onions - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cabbage - 50 grams, finely shredded
- Carrot - 1 small, grated
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the minced pork shoulder, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the rice flour and water to form a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball, then flatten them into discs about 1 cm thick.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the rice flour discs for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the marinated pork mixture and cook until the pork is fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped cilantro, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the vegetables are slightly wilted.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a generous amount of the pork and vegetable mixture between two rice flour discs. Serve immediately.
